About 30% of the houses on the southern coast of Crimea are affected by landslides. This fact was acknowledged by "Deputy Minister of Housing Policy and State Construction Supervision of the Republic of Crimea" Yevgeny Agureev on the Vesti Krym TV program
According to him, more than half of all landslide protection structures in the TOT of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, which were built more than 50 years ago, have served their regulatory term and need to be restored; a program of measures for their restoration and reconstruction is currently being developed.
