A center for dolphin rehabilitation is being built in Sevastopol

Center for for the study, rescue and rehabilitation of marine mammals "Bezmyatezhnoe More" ("Bezmyatezhnoe More") announced the start of construction of a hospital for for the rehabilitation of Black Sea dolphins in occupied Sevastopol. For this purpose, with the about two hectares of land were purchased with the assistance of caring people

Previously the center's specialists were forced to help dolphins right on the shore. For 8 years through the monitoring system passed 230 individuals of cetaceans of all three species (listed in the Russian and regional Red Data Books), which were were found by eyewitnesses in a difficult situation and in need of help.

In addition, Since the beginning of 2025, 110 dead dolphins have been accounted for on the Crimean coast dead dolphins; the causes of their death are not reported.

Now the center continues to search for funds to equip the facilities: the occupation "government" of the city has not yet has not yet provided a single penny for this initiative.
