"Correspondent" and "correspondent" are the new "norms" of the Russian language

It turns out that not only the former president of Ukraine, traitor Viktor Yanukovych, had serious difficulties with the spelling of the word "professor" in Russian (correctly in Russian: "профессор"). As a result, Yanukovych wrote his position at the Donetsk Academy of Management in Russian as "professor."

It was the words "professor" and "correspondent" that caused the greatest difficulties for the participants of the Russian "Total Dictation" campaign. This was reported to RIA Novosti by Marina Shpilman, a member of the federal philological council of the action.

"The words they learn at school turned out to be difficult... For example, in Russian, they are 'correspondent' and 'professor'. They remember that two letters are written somewhere, but where exactly... There were a lot of mistakes in the word 'correspondent', a lot of spellings - 'prespondent', 'krespondent', and many other variants," noted Maryna Shpilman.

Interestingly, people from the occupied territories sometimes send pictures of illiterately written ads, price tags and even signboards to local publics.

At the same time, the authors note that with the occupation, cases of such illiteracy when writing in the state language of the occupying country have become more noticeable than before the occupation, when Ukrainian was the state language, but Russian was also present in a certain segment.

In the comments to these photos, people write: "They made us forget how to write in Ukrainian, but we never learned how to write in Russian," "These are the new norms of the Russian language, get used to it."

"Voice of Crimea" has already written that Russia is deliberately destroying the Ukrainian component in education in the occupied territories.
