Occupants claim that more than 15 thousand participants of the war against Ukraine are in line for land in Crimea
In the occupied Crimea, more than 15 thousand participants in the war against Ukraine, who have submitted relevant applications, are waiting in line for land plots. This was reported to the Russian occupiers-controlled media outlet RIA Novosti Crimea by Dmitry Voronin, deputy head of the republican branch of the Russian foundation Zashchitniki Otechestva ("Defenders of the Fatherland"), a participant in the war against Ukraine.
According to him, two categories of applicants were identified - those who permanently lived in the occupied Crimea several years before the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine in 2022 , and residents of Russian regions who mobilized through Crimean "military commissariats". Voronin added that not all the occupation military need the land, as some already have their own land plots and buildings on them."
