Summer vacation in occupied Crimea to rise in price by 30%
This year, summer vacation in the occupied Crimea will rise in price by 30%. Roman Tikhonchuk, "Chairman of the Committee on Tourism, Resorts and Sports" of the occupation "State Council of the Republic of Crimea", told this on the air of Sputnik in Crimea radio.
However, according to the occupation official, the price of social vouchers has not yet increased much compared to last year.
"Social vouchers, including children's vouchers, have risen in price by literally 10%," Tikhonchuk said, advising those who want to vacation on the occupied peninsula on a social voucher.
Tikhonchuk did not explain the reasons for the rise in prices.
But we have already written that the projected increase in prices in July 2025 for accommodation in hotels and resorts in the occupied Crimea this time is not only due to the high season, which traditionally sees the largest influx of tourists. And not only with the rise in prices for food and utilities, but also with the new requirements of Russian legislation for the owners of tourism industry facilities, which also apply to the occupied territories.
