24-year-old Ukrainian Volodymyr Usyk detained in occupied Crimea
Russian Interior Ministry officials, together with the "FSB Border Directorate", detained 24-year-old Volodymyr Usyk at the entrance to occupied Crimea from mainland Ukraine.
The young man was accused of allegedly publishing materials on the social network Instagram that "discredit the actions of the Russian Armed Forces" and expressing his support for Ukrainian troops and his expectation of their arrival.
In the video, originally published on the Crimean SMERSH Telegram channel (now deleted), the detainee states on camera that he "posted comments on social networks that offend the feelings of servicemen, citizens of the Russian Federation", "repents of his actions", and promises not to repeat this again.
It is noted that "administrative protocols" were drawn up against Usyk, and "case materials" were transferred to the "court" for "consideration on the merits."
