Occupants confiscated Crimean assets of Ukrainian producers
Russian occupiers confiscated the Crimean assets of Ukrainian producers, "who profited from lovers of strong drinks" and financed the Armed Forces
"Ukrainian businessmen profited from lovers of strong drinks," - these are the accusations that begin information in the Crimean public about the illegal alienation of assets of Ukrainian alcohol producers, both in Russia and in the occupied territories, in particular in Crimea.
"Shares and 100% of several alcohol companies owned by supporters of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were transferred to Russia. Among them are two companies operating in Crimea. The confiscated enterprises produce popular alcohol," the information says, citing a message on the official Telegram channel of the Federal Bailiffs Service of Russia (FSPP).
The assets in question are those of Ukrainian businessmen Natalia Bondareva and Svyatoslav Nechytailo. The aggressor country has illegally appropriated about 60 thousand shares of Velikoustuzkyi Distillery JSC owned by these entrepreneurs, as well as 100% of the shares in the authorized capitals of National Alcoholic Traditions LLC, Business Group LLC, Southern Alcoholic Traditions LLC and Alcoholic Traditions of Crimea LLC.
"According to the Prosecutor General's Office of the Russian Federation, entrepreneurs transferred about 2% of the profit from the sale of their companies' products to the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). In total, in 2022-2024, they transferred more than $1.8 million to the Armed Forces and the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine. These funds were used to purchase drones, vehicles, special equipment, radio stations, and to conduct training for Ukrainian military personnel. According to the Russian Federal Service for State Property Management, the Velikoustyuzsky District Court of the Vologda Region recognized businessmen from Ukraine Natalia Bondareva and Svyatoslav Nechitailo, as well as Yuri Moklyak, who manages their assets in Russia, as extremists who financed the Armed Forces of Ukraine," the Crimean TV channel under occupation additionally reports.
In addition, the invaders also "nationalized" - that is, illegally appropriated the property of the brewery JSC "Brewery Crimea" - the largest producer of these drinks on the territory of the occupied peninsula, - reports Crimean public.
"Voice of Crimea" has already written that a cafe was "nationalized" in Dzhankoy, whose owners are fighting in the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
