Crimea hosts "conference on economic development" of occupied territories
On April 10-11, the V All-Russian Scientific and Practical Conference entitled "Potential of Economic Development and Management of the Region, Improving Financial Literacy and Formation of Financial Culture: Practice of the Russian Federation Subjects" was held in occupied Simferopol on the basis of the Crimean Engineering and Pedagogical University named after Fevzi Yakubov (KIPU).
In addition to the above "university", the event was organized by the "Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Crimea" and the "Crimean Republican Institute of Postgraduate Pedagogical Education", with the participation of the Research Financial Institute of the Ministry of Finance of the Russian Federation and the Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation.
In his welcoming speech, the "Head of the Republic of Crimea" Sergey Aksyonov expressed the readiness of the occupied Crimea to share with the "historical regions", as Russian propaganda calls the occupied territories of mainland Ukraine, "practical experience of integration into the Russian legal and socio-economic space".
"Crimea has come a long way since its 'historic reunification with Russia'. This is a unique experience, unprecedented in its essence. All the tasks we faced after the "return to the homeland" were non-standard, not prescribed in any methodology. The work was aimed at a specific result, and the methods were determined on the spot in manual mode. As a result, we have acquired invaluable skills and abilities that we are always ready to share with our friends, fraternal regions," the "head of Crimea" said, expressing confidence that the Russian Federation under the leadership of dictator Vladimir Putin "will overcome all difficulties and obstacles, as it has happened more than once."
The event was attended by "senator from Zaporizhzhia region" Dmytro Vorona, "First Deputy Chairman of the State Council of the Republic of Crimea" Andriy Kozyrev, "Deputy Chairman of the State Council of the Republic of Crimea - Minister of Finance of the Republic of Crimea" Irina Kiviko, "Minister of Internal Policy, Information and Communications of the Republic of Crimea" Albert Kursutov, "Rector of the KIPU" Chingiz Yakubov, specialists from Moscow, St. Petersburg, Krasnoyarsk Krai, Chechen Republic, representatives of the "legislative and executive authorities of the Republic of Crimea and Sevastopol", teachers and students of the leading "universities" of the TOT of the AR of Crimea, "guests" from the occupied regions of mainland Ukraine.
As stated, the event discussed the topics of increasing the revenue side of the consolidated budget of the Russian Federation (taking into account the occupied territories of Ukraine), the system of support for the development of local self-government, functional literacy in school initiative budgeting, etc.
The head of the Krasnoyarsk institution, Alexei Menshchikov, recalled that it has been cooperating with the Crimean "university" since 2014 . The new "agreement", by analogy with the previous one, was called "Crimean Vector 2.0."
