Traitor to Ukraine sentenced to 15 years in prison

A traitor Starley, who served in the Armed Forces of Ukraine in Crimea at the time of the occupation was demoted and imprisoned for 15 years. Albeit, so far in absentia, - informs Vinnytsia Regional Court.

The court found the serviceman guilty of high treason. He was sentenced to 15 years in prison with confiscation of all his property and stripped of his military rank of "senior lieutenant." 

"The court proved that during the temporary occupation of the territory of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, the former head of the service department of the combat control of the radio technical battery of the anti-aircraft missile division (S-300PS) of the military unit of the tactical group of the Air Force "Crimea" of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, in order to forever evade the duties of military service, did not arrive at the collection point of servicemen on the mainland of Ukraine," the prosecutor's office said in a statement.

It is noted that in the future, from 2014 to the present, the ex-lieutenant has been serving in the Russian Armed Forces and has been actively involved in the war against Ukraine.
