SBU materials help to serve suspicion notices to two traitors who contributed to the occupation of Crimea

"The SBU has announced suspicions to former Ukrainian police officers who betrayed their oath and who betrayed the oath and went over to the enemy in the spring of 2014," the SBU Main Directorate in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea reports

The offenders voluntarily took up senior positions in the occupation departments of the "Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation" in the city of Alushta and Kirovsky district immediately after the seizure of the peninsula.

According to the investigation, they were engaged in the forceful imposition occupation authorities and helped the enemy to conduct subversive activities against Ukraine

On the basis of the collected sBU investigators served the suspects suspicion notices in absentia under two articles of the Criminal Code of Ukraine Of Ukraine: Part 1 of Article 111 (high treason) and Part 7 of Article 111 (state treason) and part 7 of Article 111-1 (collaboration). They face up to 15 years in prison with confiscation of property

The Prosecutor's Office of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and м. Of Sevastopol adds details about the traitorous law enforcement officers.

"In particular, one of the of the suspects in 2014 was appointed "chief of police of the department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the city of Alushta", and in 2019 - "acting head of the department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of м. Sudak"

Later, in June 2022, he voluntarily headed the "Intermunicipal Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia "Krasnoperekopsky".

Another "law enforcement officer" in in 2014, he took the position of "deputy head of the Kirovsky district". Later, in January 2024, he agreed to act as the head of the department, and in February was appointed "deputy head" of the said department."
