In occupied Balaklava, homeowners will be obliged to buy garbage bags only from BMC

The regional garbage operator LLC "Improvement of Sevastopol" will not remove garbage from private sector houses if it is not in a package purchased from the garbage operator. This is reported in social networks by residents of the occupied Balaklava

Sevastopol residents who live in the private sector take their garbage either to containers or to the gate, where the packages are picked up by BMS LLC. Currently, these citizens have been informed that only municipal solid waste collected in bags by BMS will be taken away from the gate."

The bags are 160 liters in volume. "BMS sells them for 146 rubles each.

"If the garbage is not stored in bags provided by the regional operator, there are no grounds for their transportation by BMS LLC," the statement said

There is an alternative: residents of the private sector can buy a separate 120-liter container and conclude an agreement with BMC on the removal of the contents of the tank for 300 rubles per month.
