Occupants report on "reduction of terrorist and extremist crimes" in Crimea
In 2024, the Russian occupiers recorded "15 terrorist crimes and 10 extremist crimes" in the TOT of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea. Such data was announced in the report of the "Acting Minister of Internal Affairs for the Republic of Crimea" Alexei Dmitriev.
Compared to 2023 , the occupiers noted a 12% decrease in the number of "terrorist crimes" and a 12% decrease in "extremist" crimes;- by 71%, despite the fact that since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine by the Russian Federation in2022 , the occupation forces in the TOT of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea have been massively detaining people with pro-Ukrainian and/or anti-war views, accusing them of "terrorism", "extremism", "treason", etc.
The report of the Crimean occupation "Ministry of Internal Affairs" reports that in 2024 77 "protocols" were drawn up for "public use of Nazi symbols", which the occupiers consider to be Ukrainian state and national symbols, 4 - for the dissemination of "extremist" materials, 120 - under the article on "discrediting the armed forces of the Russian Federation", which includes any manifestation and demonstration of pro-Ukrainian and/or anti-war views.
