The ZNPP incident is the result of Russia's replacement of Ukrainian licensed experts with unqualified personnel, - Ukrainian diplomat Oleksandr Levchenko
Ukrainian diplomat in his blog on "Voice of Crimea" actualized the issue of negotiations on Zaporizhzhia NPP
He noted that a diesel fuel tank used to power emergency generators was damaged at the temporarily occupied Zaporizhzhia NPP
He also revealed the content of the talks between Trump and Zelensky on the ZNPP
"The incident is the result of Russia's replacement of Ukrainian licensed experts with unqualified personnel. The spilled fuel would have been enough to power the station's emergency generators for 25 days. Allowing this situation to continue will only lead to new accidents and dangers. Zaporizhzhya NPP must be returned under the control of Ukraine, and this is the only way to prevent further incidents," said Oleksandr Levchenko.
"Zelensky discussed the issue of power plants and nuclear power plants in Ukraine. He noted that the United States can help Ukraine manage them. Trump asked whether the Ukrainian authorities would understand that the United States could modernize Zaporizhzhia NPP, to which the Ukrainian president replied that Zaporizhzhia NPP belongs to the state, and Ukraine is not going to transfer ownership of it to anyone. However, the United States can invest in its restoration and development," the Ukrainian diplomat said.
