Occupants lure cultural workers to Sevastopol villages for a million rubles

Its goal is to attract professional staff to cultural institutions in the cultural institutions in the rural areas of the Russian Federation and the occupied territories of Ukraine.

During the "Sevastopol government meeting" approved the procedure for implementing the program "Zemsky cultural worker" program in 2025. According to the clarification of the "director of the Department of Culture of Sevastopol" Angela Sumakova, the program provides for a one-time compensation payment of one million rubles to specialists who will move to work in rural areas, working villages, urban or cities with a population of up to 50 thousand people on the territory of occupied Sevastopol. The winners of the competition must sign an employment contract by September 1 and sign a trilateral agreement to provide payments by September 15, which will be transferred by the "Department of Culture" by November 1.

To to receive the payment, applicants must meet a number of conditions: Russian citizenship, victory in the competitive selection for the vacant position and an employment agreement with full-time employment contract with the cultural institution for at least 5 years.

List of of vacant positions participating in the program is published on the website of the "Department of Culture of Sevastopol". Currently, 5 positions of teachers are available in the villages of music-theoretical disciplines, violin, piano, wind and percussion instruments, as well as a librarian.
