Russian President signs decree on spring conscription

President of the aggressor country Putin signed a decree on the spring conscription for military service in the Russian army. It is noted that those who have received a call-up will not be able to leave the country

From April to June, it is planned to draft 160 thousand citizens aged 18 to 30, - reports the Russian edition of RBC.

According to the decree, conscripts will be sent electronic summonses, upon receipt of which the conscript will be prohibited from leaving the country. And in case of failure to appear on the agenda, it will be forbidden to drive a car, get loans, buy or sell real estate and register as an individual entrepreneur.

Electronic summonses during the spring draft will be sent to the private account of a Russian citizen on Gosuslugi, and in Moscow to the Mos.ru portal. At the same time, the Russian Defense Ministry emphasized that paper summonses still have the same legal force as electronic ones.

The decision of the draft board will now be valid for a year. That is: if a conscript is not sent to a unit, he will be taken in the next call without repeated measures

The autumn conscription in Russia took place from October 1 to the end of December. The Russian Defense Ministry reported that 133 thousand people were drafted then.

Since December 2024, the staffing of the Russian armed forces has increased to 2 million 389 thousand 130 people, of which 1.5 million are military personnel.

The last time Putin signed a draft decree was on September 16, 2024. The increase in the number of calls, according to the authors of the information in the mentioned publication, "confirms the policy of increasing the country's military power and the strategy to strengthen Russia's defense capabilities."

The Russian Ministry of Defense promises that conscripts will not be sent to the so-called "military training". But this is not true. The "Voice of Crimea" wrote about itthat some Russian soldiers returning from the war to the occupied Crimea in coffins did not get to the front under a contract, but were mobilized
