What is the film about?
The documentary tells the story of the Ukrainian people's struggle for independence, which began with the occupation of Crimea in 2014. It seeks to answer why Ukrainians, despite the immense pressure exerted by the Russian occupying forces, continue to resist, refuse to accept the occupation as "liberation," and reject becoming strangers in their own homeland.
The film features firsthand testimonies from people who remain in the occupied territories and continue to fight for their right to call their native land Ukraine.
